Have you ever felt so happy that you needed to give Christ a hug? Have you ever been so sad that you needed Him to wrap His arms around you? Do you know someone who might be feeling that way now?
If you resonate with any of these questions, perhaps you'd like to share the love of Christ and a prayer shawl with someone. Members of the Grace family knit the shawls, praying for the recipient as they knit. A few of the shawls are presented at church. Most are distributed privately, often anonymously. How incredible it is to receive a tangible symbol of Christ's love "out of the blue" when you most need to know that Christ cares and is with you!
Shawls have been knit to comfort the sick, dying, and grieving. Others have been knit to accompany people through life transitions. Many have been knit to give to guests at Kairos Outside, a retreat ministry for women affected by the incarceration of a friend or family member. And one was knit for Pastor Michael on his birthday. Would you like to share the love of Christ with someone? Contact Jill Nobles if you'd like to knit a shawl or order one.
